Plot[]
The film is based on the true story of high school teacher Mary Stauffer (Alyson Hannigan) and her eight-year old daughter, Beth (Daphne Hoskins) who were held captive for 53 days by Ming Sen Shiue (Howie Lai), an obsessed former student of Mary's.
