Plot[]
In 1975, a young boy named Jacob Fletcher (who lives in fear of his abusive father) calls a hotline for abused children one day and is quickly taken to a rehabilitation facility run by Childhelp USA.
The story of the Childhelp USA founders Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson unfolds through a series of flashbacks to the 1960s, when a trip to Japan inspires them to start a nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping abused children.
